Brisbane Floods 2022

Update - Brisbane February 2022 Flood / Weather Crisis.

It's been a difficult start to the year for so many with a lot happening around Australia, and now, an extreme weather event has impacted SE QLD and the Northern Rivers & coastal parts of NSW.

Here in Brisbane, where I am located, we had over a years worth of rain in just hours causing widespread flash flooding, road closures and countless damage to 1000's of homes and businesses.

Fortunately, I haven't experienced any severe loss or damage to my product, but there was a lot of water that passed through my work space that damaged raw material and of course, lots of mud & debris to clean up!

What does this mean for my customers and their orders?

  • Please, if I can make a simple request to have your patience and understanding at this time - I'd honestly appreciate that very much. ☺️

  • Know that your orders will continue to process, as no prepared stock or product was damaged - So that's great news! ✨

  • Some delays are to be expected around some supply & deliveries - primarily to either temporary road closures as flood waters subside, or - as some partnering business suppliers assess damage or - clean up to get operations back to as normal. 👏

  • Deliveries in particular are expected to be impacted with transport delays as packages are re-routed as a means to safely ensure your packages arrive with you in a timely manner. 📦

Please also note, that order updates via social media are not available, so any DM's or Inbox messages on Instagram or Facebook will not be monitored. It's very difficult to maintain a focus on communication on these platforms as many messages have become lost or overlooked on many occasions. An auto responder is set up to remind customers that service is not available. Thank you for your understanding on this matter.

If you need any assistance, send - one email only, and I will respond to you as quickly as I possibly can.

For anyone that has been affected, I send you loads of positivity and hope you have a support network around you to see you through this very difficult time.

Big love,
Aaron x
